SKIN REJUVENATION

PRE CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Avoid excessive alcohol, NSAIDs, Garlic, Gingko Biloba, Fish Oils, and Vitamin E for 5-7 days prior to your treatment unless recommended by your physician. This may reduce this risk of bruising during your treatment.

  • Do not use topical retinoids or exfoliants 1 week prior to your treatment.

  • Avoid sun exposure, laser treatments, and tanning beds 2 weeks before your treatment.

  • For cold sore sufferers, it is recommended to take antiviral medication the day before, the day of, and the day after your treatment.

POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Pinpoint bleeding can occur immediately following treatment. This should resolve within 24 hours.

  • Minor redness and swelling may occur for 1-2 days.

  • Minor peeling and flakiness can occur after a few days. Do not pick at the skin; this can cause scarring and hyper-pigmentation.

  • Itching, redness, and swelling are normal signs of the healing process and these symptoms shouldn't persist for more than 72 hours after your treatment. If you experience excessive redness, swelling, pain, or drainage, call us immediately as these symptoms may indicate an infection.

  • Make sure to disinfect anything that comes in contact with your face; glasses, cellphone, makeup brushes and applicators, pillowcases, etc.

  • DO NOT touch your face and avoid allowing your pets to come into contact with your face.

  • Avoid direct sun for 3-4 days after treatment. After this, use sunscreen daily and re-apply every 30-90 minutes.

  • Discontinue use of skincare products containing alpha-hydroxy-acid for 5 days after treatment or when skin is no longer flaking and peeling.

  • Use hydrating and reparative products the contain aloe, peptides, antioxidants, stem cells, and vitamins A, C, and E. These ingredients are rich in soothing and healing ingredients and encourage new cell growth.

  • Do not apply your regular make-up for a minimum of 24 hours after your treatment.

  •  Limit exercise for the first week after your treatment, and make sure to drink plenty of water.
