LASER HAIR REMOVAL

  • Immediately following your treatment you may experience redness and bumps at the treatment area, which may last for up to 2 hours. It is normal for the treated area to feel like a sunburn for a few hours. A cold compress can be used if needed, and Aloe may be used to treat any discomfort.

  • Makeup may be used after your treatment. Make sure to use a moisturizer under your makeup; this will help exfoliate dead hair from the follicle. Use your moisturizer frequently and freely on the treated area.

  • Avoid sun exposure for at least 72 hours before and after your treatment to reduce the chance of dark or light spots, and make sure to wear SPF 25 or higher.

  • Avoid picking or scratching at treated skin. Do not use any other hair removal methods or products on the treated area during the course of your laser treatments, as this will prevent you from achieving the best results. Shaving is the best option at this time. Always shave the area to be treated prior to your appointment.

  • You may shower after the laser treatments and use soap, deodorant, etc. The treated area should be washed with mild soap and patted dry.

  • Shedding of hair may occur within 5-30 days. While this appears to be new hair growth, it is dead hair pushing its way out of the follicle. A light exfoliation may aid in this process.

  • Hair re-growth takes place at different rates on different area of the body. Stubbles, representing dead hair being shed from the follicle, will appear within 10-20 days from the treatment date. This is normal and will fall out quickly.

  • For maximum results, try to book appointments monthly.
